Yurigahama
| Yurigahama Beach is known as the phantom sandy beach. It only appears during low tide of the spring tide, and legend has it that if you can find as many star sand as your age, it will be a source of happiness for you. |
Ōganiku
| This is the longest white sandy beach on Yoron Island, stretching for approximaTely 2 km. |
Udonosu

Yoron 15th Night Dance Ceremony

| This is a traditional event on Yoron Island, designated as an Important National Intangible Folk Cultural Asset. It is a votive dance for the islanders to give thanks for peace and tranquillity on the island as well as a prayer for a good harvest (rain-making). | |
Yoron Coral Festival

| This is the largest summer festival on the Chabana beach. The festival is filled with local bands with island songs “eisa”, theatrical local dancing, street food, and ending with a spectacular show of fireworks. |
Yoron Marathon

| The full and half marathons are held once a year around the outer roads of the island. The beautiful seaside course and the warmth of the islanders who welcome you are the attractions of this event, bringing many returning athletes from all over the country. | |
